Chef Paresh Thakkar
Chef Paresh, owner of Personal Touch Eatery & Catering was born and raised in Sarnia. After graduating from Wilfred Laurier with a degree in Economics & Accounting and working in that field for a short period, he realized his real interest is in the culinary arts. Chef Paresh returned to school, graduating from the Culinary Management Program at Fanshawe College; he then garnered experience and knowledge by working in various restaurants in Ontario and Alberta.
Chef Paresh worked at Paddy Flarherty’s as well as part-time in an educational role at Fanshawe College while also achieving Red Seal Chef designation under the guidance of Chef Lynne Cotton.
Chef Paresh has created a unique lunch menu as well as creating a unique approach to catering by designing each event on client by client basis. He continues to work on his goal of putting Sarnia on the culinary map and recently appeared on the TV show, Chopped Canada season 3.
Heide Richard started working in the family business of Treat Yourself Wellness in 2009. She is a Natural Health Consultant and Health Coach through the I.I.N program at University of New York. Heide’s passion is to help those looking to improve their current health situation. She has successfully worked with many clients over the years to achieve those goals. She is excited to present on the many benefits of Low Level Light Therapy.
